THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE
  • Adults must be 60 or older and live independently.
  • There are no income guidelines to meet.
  • Service areas are Bloomington, Chenoa, Downs, Ellsworth, Heyworth, Hudson, LeRoy, Lexington, Normal and Towanda.
  • A Faith in Action volunteer will conduct an in-home assessment prior to receiving services.
  • Faith in Action volunteers cannot transport wheelchairs, administer medications, perform personal care services, or provide services daily.

MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION

Get help to remain independent and in your home by getting rides to and from medical appointments. 

SHOPPING TRANSPORTATON

Get assistance with grocery or other shopping-related tasks once or twice a month.                            

FRIENDLY VISITS & PHONE CALLS

Get someone to talk to or spend time with you. Planned periodic home visits or phone calls. 

LIGHT HOME MAINTENANCE

For current Care Receivers, tasks such as changing a light bulb, painting a door or raking leaves.
