Hiring – Development Coordinator

Faith in Action is a non-profit serving local seniors 60+ helping them remain independent in their homes.   Primarily we provide rides to medical appointments but also offer grocery services, friendly visits/calls, and light home maintenance.   We are a small organization that is volunteer-based and in existence since 2005.

Summary of Job Duties:

  • This position handles the fundraising events and campaigns for our organization.   This includes but is not limited to:  “Ask” luncheon, mum sale, trips, and some smaller events.  
  • Develop new fundraisers.  
  • Assist with seeking annual sponsorships from businesses and individual donations through our annual campaign.
  • The Coordinator handles social media postings, coordinates postings on the website, and manages our newsletter content, printing, and distribution.
  • The position involves donor relationships, volunteer contact, analysis of donation data, and documentation of work procedures.
  • Monday – Friday with occasional evening or weekend events. Friday afternoons off at 12:30 pm.
  • Average 30 hours weekly.
  • No benefits. 

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office
  • CRM database experience
  • Ability to multi-task
