Medical Transportation Volunteer
We need you to help drive seniors to and from medical appointments. Interested?
Here is what you need to know:
Flexible volunteer hours that fit your schedule. You choose the dates, times, and rides that are convenient for you, using online RideScheduler software. Most roundtrip rides average two hours.
Care Receivers are independent and need minimal assistance to your car. Those using a walker must be able to enter and exit the vehicle independently.
You must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
You must provide proof of current insurance on a vehicle in proper working condition.
A photocopy of your current driver’s license and insurance card will be kept on file at the office and updated as needed.
