When did you become a volunteer for FIA?
About 10 years ago.

What brought you to FIA?
 I was looking for opportunities to serve and to make a difference.

Who referred you?  What got you to contact us?
A friend at work suggested l check out FIA.

Had you been looking for an opportunity to volunteer?
Not at the time, but so glad I was introduced to FIA. I appreciate the flexibility to serve as my time allows and have met so many wonderful people.  

Any “Words of Wisdom” for us?
Thank you for encouraging us to be Christ in our community.

Have you lived in the area long? Other places you have lived?
 Yes. Going on 50 years and very blessed to have lived here. No plans to move yet.

Where did you go to school?
Illinois Wesleyan.

Jobs/ Careers?
Retired from State Farm after 38 years of service.  

Hobbies/ Past times/ Passions?
I enjoy serving in prison ministry, Celebrate Recovery and FIA. 

Family/ Pets?
My 6 precious grandchildren keep me as busy as I want to. I enjoy a ride on my Harley from time to time.

Anything else you’d like to share? 
When I am called to serve I am asked to focus on others and share the gifts God has blessed me with.

Anything unique or unusual about yourself you would like to share?
I can’t think of anything. But I sure would like my Cubs to win another World Series.
